Chuck is originally from Minneapolis, Minnesota.

He was fortunate to have studied with the late Paul Lagos. His real education came from working with the fine musicians from Omaha, Nebraska. Funk, Jazz, Blues, Latin – many styles, many players and music educators. He held the drummer’s chair for more than ten years in the Midwest’s finest Horn Band – “The Mighty Jailbreakers”. Led by lead singer, Brad Cordie, the band is considered on institution that has an alumni of over 50+ musicians. Stevie Ray Vaughn would hire the Jailbreaker horns when coming through town. Another group Chuck worked with for years is the Caribbean Jazz Band “Irie”. Led by Joey and Tony Gulizia. Irie performed all over the Midwest. The most notable was the week long Concert Series as Special Guest Artists with “The Omaha Symphony Orchestra”. Chuck is currently working out of Indialantic, Florida – another place with a rich history of fine musicians.
